Want to train to have new skills!

We offer training to become a lifeguard

The five-day course provides people with the theory and practical skills needed to be a lifeguard. The course includes training in water safety, casualty recovery, CPR and emergency first aid. When you pass you will receive a Level 2 Pool Lifeguard qualification.

After passing the course you will be able to apply to work for us, and we will guarantee you an interview.

We are running pool lifeguard courses on the following dates:

Friday 19^thApril (4-8pm), Sat 20th/Sun 21^st (8am-4pm), Friday 26th (4-8pm), Sat 27th/Sun 28th (8am-4pm), Thorne Leisure Centre
Monday 27th - Friday 31st May, Rossington Leisure Centre
Monday 24th - Friday 28th June, Rossington Leisure Centre
Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July, Askern Leisure Centre

Cost: £240

Level 2 Swim Teachers (Part Time) @ DCLT Venues across the City

Location: Trustwide - Aquatic
Salary: £14.14 - £17.68 per hour dependant on qualification
Experience: Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification

We're looking for Part Time Level 2 Swim Teachers to deliver outstanding lessons at sites across the city. You will need to hold a Level 2 Swim Teacher Certificate or equivalent.

Salary: £6.40 (16/17 years), £8.60 (18-20years), £11.44 (21 years and above)
Experience: Valid Pool Lifeguard qualification required.

We are looking for a friendly, committed and hardworking Development Officer, preferably with a love of the arts to join the marketing and fundraising team. The ideal candidate will be self-disciplined and organised; willing to be receptive to new ideas and initiatives; comfortable working within a combined marketing and fundraising team and self-motivated to complete solo tasks. The focus of the role is on building relationships with members and individual givers, promoting Cast as a charity as well as planning and delivering member events and wider fundraising activities.
