Right Up Our Street’s mission is to provide a programme that is a successful combination of the imagination and inspiration of the artists and the understanding and aspiration of Doncaster’s local communities.  In simple terms, we need to create great pieces of art that people in Doncaster want to engage with. 


We currently have two exciting opportunities to join the team and make a real difference in the community.

About the role:

The Project Producer plays a crucial role in shaping and supporting how we engage and work with the community, artists, and project partners and will be the point of contact for all project activity.  The successful candidate will advise on, coordinate and support the development of projects, working in conjunction with the Project Director.

They will act as a point of contact for community groups, attend board and strategic meetings, represent Right Up Our Street at events, and other functions.

About You 

The successful candidate will have experience in managing community programming, events, festivals etc. working with community groups, artists, and contractors.  You will have experience in developing and managing event plans and risk assessments.  You will be committed and enthusiastic with the ability to work under pressure with a determination to succeed.  Able to drive new initiatives and effectively negotiate at a senior level with excellent communication, influencing and networking skills.

Average of 37 hours Fixed-term contract April 2021 – March 2022
