Where possible, try to keep up with normal everyday activities and interests, especially keeping in touch with friends, family and neighbours - either via the telephone or on a video call - or even writing letters.
Keeping active with interests and hobbies we enjoy keeps our mind well too - which is just as important as keeping our bodies moving. Trying something new can be a great thing to do, and have many positive effects on your mental health.
Here you will find lots of ideas on how to do this, with some chair-based exercise video classes as well as creative ways to keep your minds ticking over healthily too.
The gyms and pools will be beack open for you to enjoy as soon as it is permitted, and we will be continuing our online fitness classes until we are able to offer group classes again.
