
Everything you need to know when visiting a DCLT venue.
Regular cleaning and sanitisation will of course continue across all areas and all sanitisation stations must remain in place and be adequately stocked.
We are asking our staff and customers to continue to wear a face mask if they want to.
We know that some of you will choose not to, and that is your decision to make, we’re just asking that you consider wearing them as you move around our venues.
Your health and wellbeing remains our top priority.
Fitness
- Our gyms will be open from 6am – 10pm Monday to Friday and 7am – 7pm at weekends;
- Gyms will return to open access for members - this means you no longer need to pre-book, instead you will be able to simply turn up and swipe your membership card;
- There will be more availability in Fitness Classes and these will remain bookable online;
- Changing rooms are open, along with sauna and steam rooms;
- Casual users are welcome too, by booking online;
Swimming
- Changing rooms are fully open, including shower facilities;
- There is no longer a requirement to arrive ‘swim ready’, although you are still welcome to do so if you wish;
Building flow
- The one-way systems is no longer in place;
- Visitors to the Dome will now be able to get enter and exit through the main entrance;

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I still have to wear a mask?
Masks will no longer be a legal requirement in public places but anyone can choose to wear one if they wish to, and we are activiely encouraging people to do so.
Do I need to be double jabbed?
Can I just turn up?
Can I attend the gym as a non member?
Do I still need to book gym classes?
Yes, gym classes will still need to be booked online to maintain safe numbers but we will increase them to be more than they were previously.
Are showers opening again?
Yes all our showers are open.
Is Big Splash and Ice Skating still limited to 90 minutes?
Is it still safe to visit?
Is Sauna and Steam reopening?
Yes the saunas and steam rooms are open for you to enjoy.
Are you taking on new children for swimming lessons yet?
Will entry and exit point change?
Yes all entry and exit points will return to pre-Covid procedures and our one way systems will be removed.
Can I spectate at swimming?
Yes, spectating can return for swimming lessons. Spectating can also return for general swims at Awdick, Armthorpe, Dearne Valley and Rossington.
We are also allowing spectators to Big Splash and Ice Skating for a small charge.
When will bowling be reopening?
We will let you know when we have a date for when our bowling alley can reopen.
When will indoor sports reopen?
Many of our sports hall facilities are currently being used as vaccination centres, so are not available for indoor sports just yet.
Squash Courts opened for booking on May 17th.
When will soft play areas reopen?
Soft play areas at the dome and Adwick are both located in areas that are currently being used for an alternative purpose, therefore we do not intend to reopen these areas until later in the Summer.
