This is the first major international touring exhibition to explore the vibrant history and culture of video games.

Focusing on key game developments between 1962 and the present day, Game On takes a global perspective at gaming’s fascinating past and limitless future. From the colossal Mainframes of the early sixties to the latest releases, Game On examines the creative and scientific advances that have revolutionised the games we play.  

  • The exhibition features more than 150 playable arcade, console, and handheld games 

  • Includes iconic games such as Space Invaders, Sonic the Hedgehog and Rock Band.

We are open for five daily sessions Monday - Sunday between the 16th January and 14th April 2024.

10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm & 6pm

Prices (plus booking fee)

Adult: £14.50

Child: £9.50

Group Bookings £8.50pp (over 20 people)

Family Ticket: £35 (4 people max 2 adults)

Game On is located at Doncaster Dome where we have four free car parks.

Travel information 

By Road: 

  • From the motorway - exit the M18 at J3 and follow the signs for Lakeside North. Head north on Gliwice Way, and The Dome will be visible on the right. 
  • From Doncaster centre - head Southeast on Bawtry Road, and The Dome will be visible on the right. Turn right at the Racecourse traffic lights, before the “Welcome to The Dome” Sign. 

Car parks: 

  • Cars: Take the 2nd left at the Herten Way Roundabout and use carpark 1. 
  • Coaches: Take the 1st left onto Booth Ave and use carpark 2. 

By Rail: 

  • Doncaster Railway Station. The Dome is 3 miles from the station, or 20 minutes by public transport. 

By Bus: 

  • The following bus routes serve The Dome, via the Booth Ave or Gliwice Way bus stops: 
    21/25/29/55/56/57/57A/58/59/72/73/98/99/399/404/472/492H/N11
