Getting to the start
Doncaster has a railway station on the East Coast Main Line, a major route that links London with Edinburgh. It's the perfect way to get to Doncaster from the north or the south.
You can find all train times here - www.thetrainline.com
Once you're at the railway station, walk next door to the Frenchgate Bus Interchange to get a bus that will take you to the start line at The Dome .
- For the Women’s race in the morning, the best bus routes are the 55, 57c and 57f.
- For the Men’s race in the afternoon, the 55, 58a and 58c are the best available buses.
Journey times on the buses are expected to be 15-20 minutes depending on traffic with services departing from Frenchgate several times an hour. South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive will have travel ambassadors in Frenchgate and bus stops along the route will be branded, both to assist travel to the race start.
All car parks within The Dome will be closed from 6:00pm Thursday 26th September until 4:00pm on the 27th September.
