The new attraction is ready to welcome families looking for fun on the huge inflatable slides, inflatable climbing wall, runways and the thrilling blast bag!
Chris Hone, head of commercial development for Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT) who manage the facility, said: “The new Aqua Park fun inflatable is now in pride of place on the lake and we are looking forward to welcoming families wanting to enjoy a new activity during this school holidays.
“This is a great opportunity for people from the local area to rediscover Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre. As well as the new Aqua Park visitors can try their hand at canoeing, kayaking and open water swimming on the lake.
“The centre is also a very popular camp site which attracts visitors from all over the country. The facilities for camping are great and we’ve introduced a shop and opened a new café bar onsite.
“Hatfield is a great hidden gem and we’re hoping that lots of local people will come and give our activities a go.
“We’ve reopened the site, in accordance to Government guidelines and have put extra safety and hygiene measures in place to ensure that social distancing measures are in place.”
Sessions for the Aqua Park must be booked online and all participants must be over the age of seven, be able to swim and be over 122cm tall. The fifty-minute sessions cost £15 per person and include wetsuit hire. There is also free parking onsite.
“We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to Hatfield to try out our activities. Bookings for the campsite and the Aqua Park can be made on our website and open water swimming can be made via Swim Your Swim.
“Come and enjoy a fun family experience, right here in Doncaster. DCLT are proud to be doing it for Doncaster,” added Chris,
