Directions
On Public Transport
By Bus

Regular buses run between Doncaster, Hatfield, and Thorne.
- First Bus run on the following numbers 384, 387 & 388 with stops in Hatfield.

From the village, the waterpark is a short walk.
By Train

The nearest station is Hatfield & Stainforth Railway Station.

From the station, take a local taxi (5 minutes) or walk (see below).
By Car (Main Road Routes)
From the M18 (Sheffield / Leeds)

Take the M18 and exit at Junction 5 (Hatfield / Stainforth).

At the roundabout, follow signs for Hatfield (A614).

Continue on the A614 / Thorne Road through Hatfield.

Follow signs for Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre / Waterpark.

The entrance to the waterpark and campsite will be clearly signposted on your left.
From the A1(M) (North or South)

Exit the A1(M) at Junction 37 (Blyth / Doncaster).

Follow signs for A614 toward Doncaster / Thorne.

Stay on the A614 until you reach Hatfield.

Look for signs for Hatfield Outdoor Waterpark & Campsite and turn off accordingly.
From the M62 (Hull / Leeds)

Leave the M62 at Junction 35 and join the M18 South.

Exit the M18 at Junction 5 (Hatfield).

Follow the A614 / Thorne Road into Hatfield and follow local signage.
From Nearby Towns & Cities
Doncaster Town Centre

Head north on the A638 or A19, then join the A614 toward Hatfield/Thorne.

Continue through Hatfield village and follow signs to the waterpark.
Thorne

Take the A614 toward Hatfield.

The site is just a short drive after leaving Thorne and is well signposted.
Goole / Selby

Use the M62 or A614 south toward Doncaster.

Continue on the A614 into Hatfield and follow signs for the waterpark.
Barnsley / Rotherham

Use the M18 North → Junction 5 → A614 toward Hatfield.
From Hatfield Village Centre

Start on Thorne Road (A614) heading toward Thorne.

Walk past local shops and residential areas, following signs for Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre.

Continue straight for approximately 15–20 minutes (0.8 miles).

The entrance to the Outdoor Waterpark & Campsite will be clearly signposted.
From Hatfield & Stainforth Train Station

Exit the station and head toward Hatfield village.

Join Thorne Road (A614) and walk toward Hatfield.

Continue along Thorne Road, following signage for the waterpark.

The walk takes approximately 20–25 minutes.
Good to know:

Routes are mostly flat and suitable for pushchairs.

Some sections are semi-rural — sturdy footwear is recommended.

Lighting is limited in places, so take extra care during evening walks.

Free on-site parking is available for visitors and campers.

Coach and group access is available by prior arrangement.

Clear signage is in place from Hatfield village and main approach roads.
