About the Trust
Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust is a registered charity delivering premier leisure provision venues across Doncaster. We offer a diverse range of health, fitness, leisure and entertainment activities to our customers with the goal of helping to achieve a healthier community across Doncaster.
Our centres include gyms, swimming pools, golf courses, ice skating and more.
Our history
Formerly known as Doncaster Dome Leisure Trust, DCLT’s primary role was to manage the day to day operation of the Doncaster Dome Leisure Centre.
After 2 years of discussions and hard work between Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, Dearne Valley Leisure Trust and DCLT, approval was granted in January 2011 for Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust to be expanded. From 1st April 2011, the trust now consists of 9 former DMBC managed centres, Dearne Valley Leisure Centre and Rossington Community Sports Village, based on the grounds of Rossington All Saints School.
