Are you ready for a day packed with excitement, essential life skills, and epic water park fun?
If you live in the DN3, DN7 or DN8 postcode areas, Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre invites local children to join us for our upcoming Water Safety Days!
Minimum age 7 - must be able to swim to the aqua park confidently.
Children under 10 must have a parent or carer accompany them on the Aqua Park.
It’s the perfect mix of crucial water safety learning and high-energy outdoor adventure.
Booking your spot via the form below secures your child's entry to the Water Safety Day, which will end with our massive Aqua Park session at the end of the day!
** Please read the Aqua Park Waiver and Admissions Policy HERE. Once booked on you will be sent a waiver form to fill in. This must be completed for your child to be able to attend the session **

Capacity: Strictly limited to 72 participants per day—spots fill up very fast!

Lunch: 12:00 PM – 12:40 PM (not provided, please bring a pack up or buy from our on site cafe)
What’s on the Agenda?
The day is structured into six fantastic 30-minute interactive sessions designed to build confidence and knowledge around the water, followed by the ultimate Aqua Park finale:

Boating and/or Paddleboarding: Master the basics of rowing, balancing and paddling.

Water Safety (Dry): Essential land-based safety awareness.

Flags & Signs: Learning how to read the water and beach warning signs.

Water Safety (Wet) "Float to Live": Practical, life-saving water skills, with thanks from Swim Your Swim,

Fire & Rescue: Learn from the expects, how they respond to emergencies, and what you can do to keep yourself safe.
- RNLI top tips: The RNLI will be on site to share their best advice and tips for staying safe in water.

The Grand Finale: The Aqua Park!
From 12:40 PM to 1:50 PM, the hard work pays off. This timeslot includes getting changed, a vital safety briefing, and a full 50 minutes of pure fun slipping, sliding, and splashing on our inflatable Aquapark!
** PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WETSUIT IF YOU HAVE ONE **

Spaces are entirely free for DN3, DN7 and DN8 residents (due to funding) but are strictly capped at 72 children per day.
