STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher

Turn your passion for swimming into a rewarding career and make a real difference in people’s lives.

Train with DCLT to become qualified in the new STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming and gain the skills to teach swimmers of all ages and abilities, from pre-school beginners to confident adult swimmers.

Swimming is more than just a sport; it’s a vital life skill that can build confidence, improve health, and even save lives. As a swim teacher, you’ll play an important role in helping people learn this essential skill while building their confidence in the water.

You’ll need to make sure you’ve met the following requirements before you attend your course:

Be at least 16 years of age.
Learners must have all pre-requisites in place before the start of the course.
Qualification certificates cannot be issued if all pre-requisites are not met before the start of the course; post-course submissions will not be accepted.

How much does it cost?

The cost of this course is normally £550. However, if you are successful during the selection process, you will be offered a place on the course at the exclusive price of just £250, subject to completing an indemnity with DCLT.

When will it run?

The course is delivered through blended learning, and the candidate must complete the required home learning before the face-to-face sessions begin. The face-to-face training will take place at Deane Valley Leisure Centre in Doncaster.

Training dates:

Friday 31st July: 10am-7pm
Saturday 1st August: 8am - 5pm
Sunday 2nd August: 8am - 5pm
Friday 7th August: 10am - 7pm
Saturday 8th August: 8am - 5pm

STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Course with DCLT – Fill in form

Casual Level 2 British Gymnastics Instructors at Sites Across the City
