Date 18th July doors 19.00 show to start at 19.30 Shines are an indie alternative band from Grimsby, known for their sharp guitar songs and cheeky northern wit. Their latest track Same Streets, Different Ghosts, released 30 January, picked up national radio play from Radio X tastemaker John Kennedy, who made it his Hot One. He’s supported the band since their debut and continues to spin their releases, alongside backing from Jericho Keys and BBC Introducing. Earlier releases include standalone singles A Certain Place and Radio On, while their first year saw the arrival of debut album How It Ends, quickly earning radio support and establishing their sound. As lively online as they are on stage, the band share regular behind-the-scenes snapshots of songs, videos and day-to-day moments, building a growing audience around them.
